With a wide array of activities, from Waterpark thrills, quad biking adventures to majestic Big-5 game drives, our camp offers kids the chance to explore and grow in a safe and nurturing setting.
Camp Wildside, located within the secure boundaries of Sundown Country Estate in breathtaking Pilanesberg, North-West, South Africa, upholds strict safety protocols including 24-hour supervision with a 1:5 staff:child ratio. Our dedicated team comprises experienced managers and certified mentors. The estate enhances our camp with its exceptional security and rich amenities, providing a safe and enriched environment for all our activities.

Managers
Our dedicated full-time team of managers at Camp Wildside oversees the smooth operation of the camp, ensuring that every camper and counselor has a rewarding and safe experience. Handpicked for their expertise and passion for youth development, many of our managers began their journey as counselors, both locally and internationally. Some even started as campers at Wildside themselves! Skilled in management and deeply committed to the ideals of summer camps, education, and enriching young lives, they strive to make every camper’s experience profoundly memorable and fun.
Mentors
The dynamic young adults selected as mentors at Camp Wildside are key to our camp’s vibrant atmosphere. They hail from across the globe, many with experience from American summer camps, bringing unique nicknames and infectious energy that enhance the camp spirit. Their top priority is the care, supervision, and joy of each camper. As essential components of the Camp Wildside experience, our mentors are deeply engaged in leading activities, offering support and encouragement to every camper to achieve their best, regardless of their skill level.
